Victor Osimhen is in the running for the best striker of the past Ligue 1 season, which was called off prematurely no thanks to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Other strikers in contention are Wissam Ben Yedder (Monaco), Kasper Dolberg (Nice) and Mauro Icardi (PSG).
Osimhen, 21, netted 18 goals in all competitions this season.
Only the Goal King of Ligue 1 Kylian Mbappe attempted more shots at goal (87) than Osimhen, whose tally was 86 goal attempts.
The best striker competition is under the auspices of French sports newspaper L’Equipe, who remarked that Osimhen’s emergence made up for the departure of Nicolas Pepe, whose goals qualified Lille to feature in the UEFA Champions League.
Readers are expected to pick the best striker.
