Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit Montreal Impact have secured Orji Okwonkwo on another season-long loan deal from Serie A club Bologna with option to buy him at the end of the deal.
The 22-year-old forward performed well last season for Montreal Impact as he was named Most valuable Player of the club.
He scored eight goals last season, one of which was selected among the best in the MLS.
“Orji was one of the most efficient players on our roster last season,” sporting director Olivier Renard said.
“We are very happy to see him return for another season after watching him gain MLS and youth national team experience in 2019.”
