Henry Onyekuru will be part of his mother’s funeral in Nigeria and so will miss Saturday’s Super Lig clash at home against Fatih Karagumruk.
The forward lost his mother, Jessy Onyekuru, today.
He has since been given compassionate leave by his club Galatasaray.
He has so far scored five goals in a dozen appearances for ‘Gala’ on loan from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
He started his team’s last game, a 3-0 loss at Hatayaspor, playing for 81 minutes.
This is third spell at the Turkish giants, who have the option to buy him permanently at season’s end.
