Henry Onyekuru has been admitted in hospital for suspected malaria and so has missed Galatasaray’s preparations for the second round of the Turkish Super Lig.
A top source informed SCORENigeria that Onyekuru, who is set for another loan spell at the Turkish champions, missed Friday’s friendly against Altay as a result.
Gala are training in Antalya preparatory to the resumption of the Turkish top-flight league by next weekend.
They are banking on the likes of Onyekuru to lift them from seventh place on the table.
They are also 10 points behind leaders Sivasspor.
