Frank Onyeka scored a goal and provided an assist today for FC Midtjylland to beat hosts AGF 2-1 and send a big warning to Ajax ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday.
Midtjylland continued to impress in the Danish league with another victory and a command performance by their Nigeria midfielder today.
But they have to step up their game in the Champions League as they are bottom of Group D having lost all three group games thus far.
Ajax won 2-1 when both teams first clashed in Denmark and will hope for another victory to keep the pressure on group leaders Liverpool and pull away from closest rivals Atalanta.
Onyeka, who was ruled out by injury from the recent AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone, will certainly be one player Ajax must keep a close eye on Wednesday night.
