Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka will again be available for Coventry City for today’s Premier League game at Manchester City.
This will be a huge boost to the Super Eagles ahead of 2027 AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea Bissau later this month.
Onyeka was not involved in Coventry last two matches, against Plymouth in the Carabao Cup and Hull City in the Premier League.
The defensive midfielder played the full game when his club fell 3-0 at champions Arsenal on the opening day of the new season.
“He is available for tomorrow (Saturday),” manager Frank Lampard disclosed.
Onyeka proved to be an important addition to Coventry on loan from Brentford last season as they went all the way to win the Championship and return to the top league after many years in the wilderness.
