Frank Onyeka has spoken of the high tempo of play in the Premier League after he made a winning debut with Brentford last weekend.
Onyeka played for 80 minutes Friday night when Brentford opened their long-awaited return to the English top league with a 2-0 home win over fellow Londoners Arsenal.
“When I have watched the Premier League on TV, I have never thought about how fast it goes on the field, but during the game, it went really fast,” the midfielder admitted to Sky Sports.
“It was not something I expected. People say the Premier League is so fast and now I have experienced it myself, it is actually higher.”
