With Super Eagles target Lesley Ugochukwu now set to complete his transfer to Galatasaray, Raphael Onyedika could well be the next Nigerian to join Victor Osimhen at Turkish champions Galatasaray.
Super Eagles midfielder Onyedika has long been linked with Galatasaray and now it has been reported by the Turkish media that they have since opened talks with the player’s camp.
Club Brugge are aware of the talks, but a deal at club level has not yet been reached.
Galatasaray are waiting for the green light from Onyedika before starting concrete talks with Club Brugge.
At Club Brugge, everyone realizes that compromises will have to be made.
Transfermarkt estimates Onyedika’s market value at 23 million euros. Given the contract situation, the target is a transfer fee between 15 and 20 million euros.
Galatasaray face competition in the battle for Onyedika’s signature. Aston Villa and West Ham United have also been following the Nigerian for quite some time. However, the English clubs have not yet entered into talks with the player.
