Paul Onuachu has said he has some unfinished business in Turkey after he finally landed in Istanbul to complete his transfer to Trabzonspor from relegated Premier League club Southampton.
The giant striker, whose arrival in Turkey earlier this week was delayed by visa issues concerning his wife, first shone for Trabzonspor on loan in the 2023/2024 season.
“There’s unfinished business here. I came on loan and felt the love. Now I’m here with my transfer rights and plan to stay for many years,” the 31-year-old striker declared.
He also mentioned that the decision to transfer was easy for him and that he is eager to meet his teammates.
He will sign a three-year contract after passing a routine medical.
