David Okereke and Paul Onuachu may have been major signings for their respective clubs, but they are not in the Top 10 biggest earners in the Jupiler Pro League in Belgium.
Okereke cost champions Club Brugge a record eight million Euros when he joined up two years ago from Italian club Spezia, while Genk had to fork out six million Euros to sign Onuachu from Danish club FC Midtjylland.
According to HetNieuwsblad, former Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is the highest paid player in the Belgian league as he pockets 3.4 Million Euros a year playing for Club Brugge.
Another goalkeeper, Hendrik Van Crombrugge of Anderlecht, is the 10th highest paid player with a salary of 1.5 million Euros per annum.
No foreign player makes the Top 10 of the highest earners with players of Club Brugge and Anderlecht dominating the cash register.
