Trabzonspor have tabled a club record offer they hope will keep striker Paul Onuachu away from the Premier League.
The Turkish club have submitted a new bid to Southampton of Six Million Euros plus a 25% from subsequent transfer.
Southampton, who have made an immediate return to the Premier League in England, have rejected an initial bid for the 30-year-old striker.
Last season, Trabzonspor splashed out 1.5 Million Euros as loan fee to Southampton for the player, whose salary for the loan spell was put at 1,742,500 Euros.
Onuachu repaid this by scoring 17 goals and making four assists in 25 appearances.
