Paul Onuachu is expected in Turkey later today to complete a loan transfer to Trabzonspor.
Various reports out of Turkey confirmed the striker’s arrival before midnight directly from Belgium.
Both Trabzonspor and Southampton have agreed a season-long loan for Onuachu.
He has been preferred to fellow Super Eagles star Emmanuel Dennis, who is out of favour at Premier League side Nottingham Forest.
It has been a difficult last few months for the Super Eagles striker since his transfer in January to Southampton then in the Premier League.
The striker’s former Belgian club Genk tried severally to re-sign him, but eventually had to give up the chase.
