Paul Onuachu has said he got “a fantastic feeling” when he got the goal that won Genk a Europa League group game at rapid Vienna of Austria.
The giant striker was at the right place at the right time to score in stoppage time for his Belgian club Thursday night.
“One had to go in anyway,” Onuachu said. “Whether it’s in the first minute or the last, it doesn’t matter to me. But this goal gave me a fantastic feeling.”
The match was by no means ideal, he further offered.
“Whether this was the perfect match for me? No, this was just a game like I’ve played so many times before,” the striker said.
Genk are second in Group H after West Ham won 2-0 at Dinamo Zagreb.
They next host Dinamo Zagreb on September 30.
