Both Paul Onuachu and David Okereke were on target as their Belgian clubs won on Boxing Day in continuation of the league.
Super Eagles striker Onuachu scored on the hour for champions Genk to beat KAS Eupen 2-1, while Okereke netted a brace in a 4-0 thrashing of Zulte Waregem.
Onuachu has now scored seven goals in 15 league appearances, but Genk are eighth on the table and two places outside the playoffs bracket.
Okereke, on the other hand, has now scored nine goals in the league amid speculations Club Brugge are chasing the likes of Michy Batshuayi and Benteke from the Premier League to lead their strike force.
Club Brugge remain top of the table on 49 points from 20 matches, 10 points clear of closest rivals KAA Gent.
