Defender Onome Ebi has said she believes the experience Asisat Oshoala and her will bring to the Super Falcons in their clash against Portugal will be crucial.
Both players missed the first game of the Summer Series in the USA against Jamaica, which they lost 1-0.
Both Ebi and Oshoala have since overcome logistical issues to make it just in time for the match against the better ranked Portugal.
“We will see something better (than against Jamaica) because her experience and mine will add something more to the team,” Belarus-based defender Ebi assured.
“We will make a big impact on the team.
“The girls are motivated and I am excited to join the team, I will put in my best for this game.
“I may not have had enough rest, but I will give it my best shot all the same.”
Like the Falcons, Portugal also lost their opening game to hosts USA 1-0.
Kick-off for the match between the two teams is 12 midnight in Nigeria.
