Olympique Marseille coach Andre Villas-Boas has denied the French Ligue 1 club have put in an official bid for Club Brugge forward Emmanuel Dennis.
Reports had suggested Marseille tabled a bid of between 15 and 20 million Euros for the Super Eagles star after earlier reports said the French club plan an initial loan deal because of their poor finances.
Belgian champions Club Brugge are understood to be ready to sell Dennis for around 25 million Euros.
However, Marseille coach Villas-Boas said it is not true an official offer has been made for the player.
“That is not true, I have never heard that in my life”, Villas-Boas told Téléfoot.
“We don’t have any reports on him. He’s neither on our first list nor on our second list. He’s not on our priority list at all.”
