Former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh predicted Morocco will get to the semifinal of the World Cup four years ago.

4 years ago I believed and shared this in Malaysia. Today the "beautiful bombshell" has struck the world. Watch and enjoy. I sincerely believe when we have faith, more can shock the world like My in-laws are doing… lol thanks Rogier Schultz pic.twitter.com/9af1F5oA54

On Saturday, the Atlas Lions of Morocco became the first African team to reach the semifinals of the World Cup in Qatar.

Oliseh saw this coming four years ago in Malaysia during a television interview.

The former Super Eagles captain has posted the video clip of his prediction on Twitter.

“If the Moroccan team have the same facilities as the Japanese have to prepare for the World Cup, Morocco will get to the semifinal,” Oliseh called it

“If they have the same financial investment as the Japanese have, Morocco will get to the semifinal.

“If they have the same quality of the organization, preparations years before the World Cup that they have, sponsorship that they have, those are the things keeping the African teams down.

“If you are talking of individual talent, 1v1 2v2, athletism, physique, African teams have it.

“It’s just what I mentioned that the Japanese have and the Africans don’t have, that’s just what makes the difference.”
