Ibrahim Olawoyin’s transfer to leaders of the Turkish second division Eyupsor has hit “serious problems” even after he has agreed personal terms with the club.
It appears that Eyupspor and Kociorengucu could not agree a transfer fee.
The former coach of the winger at Kociorengucu further revealed that Olawoyin has attracted serious interests from top clubs in Turkey and beyond.
“Olawoyin will make a good transfer because of his qualities and uniqueness,” said Taner Taskin, who resigned as his coach last week.
“There are serious offers for him from the 1st League (Turkish second division), the Super League and abroad.”
Former Enugu Rangers star, 25, has scored four goals and provided seven assists for his club to be fourth on the second division.
Eyupsor, on the other hand, are six points clear at the top of the standings, halfway through the season.
Last season, they missed out on promotion to the Turkish top league in the playoffs.
