Olanrewaju Kayode has continued to impress at Turkish club Sivasspor after he scored the only goal of the game to beat Giresunspor 1-0 in a cup game.
The former Manchester City forward scored in the 90th minute after coming into the game on the hour mark for Kerem Kesgin.
This is Kayode’s first cup game and he scored a goal.
Nigerian midfielder Anthony Uzodinma was in action for Giresunspor.
Kayode, 27, scored four goals in the UEFA Europa League group rounds even though Sivasspor failed to advance to the Round of 32.
He has played in Maccabi Netanya (Israel), ASEC Mimosa (Cote d’Ivoire), Austria Wien (Austria), Gaziantep FK (Turkey) and Shakhtar Donetsk(Ukraine).
