Olanrewaju Kayode has been linked with a transfer to Rizespor after negotiations with another Turkish Super Lig club, Gaziantep, broke down.
Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk are open to sell Kayode even though he still has a contract with them.
However, the striker has failed to agree a deal with Gaziantep after an impressive loan spell from Shakhtar Donetsk this past season.
Gazaintep, who owe their stay in the Turkish top league to the goals of the Nigeria star, announced they failed to strike a deal with Kayode because they could not afford the salary he demanded.
It has now been reported that Rizespor have the budget to bring in Kayode, who has previously featured in Switzerland, Israel, Austria and Spain.
