Ola Aina has quit the Super Eagles camp and returned to Premier League club Nottingham Forest, officials said.
The defender suffered “some difficulties” and fatigue during Thursday’s 2025 AFCON qualifier against Benin in Abidjan.
He was replaced by Bright Osayi-Samuel in the 83rd minute.
His withdrawal means he will miss Monday’s final AFCON qualifier against Rwanda in Uyo.
