Nottingham Forest have barely managed to fight off relegation to stay up in the Premier League in the last two seasons, but defender Ola Aina has now backed his club to enjoy a “fantastic” season in the top league this term.
On Saturday, the Super Eagles defender fired his second goal of the season for Forest to win 2-0 at Brentford and move to fourth in the standings.
They now have 31 points from 17 matches.
Ola Aina said that rather than the usual than the late season struggles against the dreaded drop, he and his club could be celebrating a super finish.
“It is good to dream a little bit. As long as we work hard and not get too carried away, I’m sure things should be fantastic come May,” the defender predicted.
