David Okereke has moved closer to exiting Belgian champions after he underwent a routine medical ahead of a transfer to newly promoted Venezia.
Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported the medical.
Okereke himself hinted on social media of a “new adventure” in Italy.
Club Brugge broke their transfer record to sign the 23-year-old forward for eight Million Euros two years ago.
Okereke started brightly, but soon hit a slump and it has since not been great for him in Belgium.
It is now most likely he will play on loan at Venezia, who have the option to buy him permanently thereafter, but that will be far below what he cost Club Brugge.
