David Okereke was again on target in his second straight game for Club Brugge to win 2-0 at Zulte-Waregem, but he said he will have to do more after he also missed two sitters.
The Nigeria U23 star opened scoring in the 23rd minute for his sixth goal of the season in the Belgian league.
“It’s slowly coming back,” the striker said of the goal. “It was also a great goal, hard to finish one time.”
However, he could have scored at least a hat-trick but he fluffed two sitters.
He blamed lack of concentration for his misses.
“With a difficult chance, the concentration is greater. With the easier one, you soon think it will work out. I still have to grow in that. I always have to stay focused,” he said.
“Anyway, the most important thing is that we won and that I could do my bit.”
Club Brugge remain top of the table with 30 points from 12 matches.
