Venezia match winner David Okereke has admitted his club “suffered” to win at Bologna, who are ninth on the Serie A table.
Okereke scored the only goal of the game in the second half for visitors Venezia to claim three crucial points at stake.
“We knew we would suffer in the match and we actually did,” the striker told his club’s official website.
But we fought together and in the end we prevailed. We are improving and growing game by game.”
The 24-year-old striker has now scored four games in 12 Serie A games.
