Slavia Praha defender Igho Ogbu will most likely come in for suspended Calvin Bassey as the Super Eagles are set to ring several changes to their Starting XI vs Egypt in a 2025 AFCON third-place clash in Casablanca.
Calvin Bassey will miss today’s game after he bagged his second booking in the knockout rounds of the tournament.
There are now strong indications that several squad players like Ogbu, Sevilla winger Chidera Ejuke and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro will also get their chance to start against Egypt today.
Pisa SC midfielder Akinsanmiro, for one, has not seen any minute of action despite the high hopes his selection on the AFCON final squad caused.
He has also suffered illness in Morocco.
Kick-off today in Casablanca is 5pm.
