Top officials said the Super Eagles will prepare for the delayed 2023 AFCON in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
NFF spokesman Ademola Olajire said a decision has been taken for the team to train in the UAE for the tournament, which will kick off in Cote d’Ivoire in January.
“The Super Eagles camping details are not out yet, but they will camp in the UAE,” Olajire disclosed.
The team will assemble later this month for the training camp.
The three-time African champions are drawn in Group A in Abidjan along with hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea Bissau.
They open their campaign on January 12 against Equatorial Guinea.
