Kelechi Nwakali scored his second goal for struggling Alcorcon to win 3-1 at Lugo and further boost their chances of avoiding relegation.
Nwakali, who is on loan from La Liga side Huesca, followed up on his superb free kick goal last week to score again from the penalty spot in the 80th minute.
He will then be booked four minutes later.
Alcorcon are now two points clear of the relegation zone with 38 points from 35 matches.
There are seven rounds of matches still to be played in the Segunda Division.
