Kelechi Nwakali has told SCORENigeria in an exclusive interview he could still make a sensational return to his “dream club” Arsenal even though he has now signed a three-year contract with ambitious Spanish second division club Huesca.
Nwakali told SCORENigeria his new contract has a buy-back clause which will allow him to return to the London Gunners, who first signed him three years ago.
“Arsenal are my dream club,” he said.
“I have joined Huesca so as to get enough playing time and be back on track (with my career).
“And one thing is sure – it’s not over yet for me at Arsenal because there’s a buy-back option in my contract as well.
“At the end of the contract, it will be whether I’m going back to Arsenal or moving on from there.”
Huesca are an ambitious club who seek a return to La Liga within a short time.
Nwakali also shot down a story that he will be loaned out by his new club.
“I am not going on loan to any club,” he maintained.
“Some people are just writing what they like, not working with facts.”
