Even at the ripe old age of 32, there is just no stopping Anthony Nwakaeme after he scored his sixth goal and also provided his sixth assist for Trabzonspor to open up a massive 13-point gap at the top of the Turkish Super Lig today.
Nwakaeme opened scoring for the home team against Adana Demirspor after 26 minutes.
He then gave the assist for his team’s second goal in the 54th minute.
Nwakaeme has yet to agree a new contract with the Ankara-based club.
Fellow Nigeria star David Akintola played for 72 minutes for Adana Demirspor.
Trabzonspor now have 39 points from 15 matches, 13 points clear of closest rivals Konyaspor.
Champions Istanbul Basaksehir are on 22 points with Fenerbache recording 24 points and Besiktas on 21 points.
