Anthony Nwakaeme came off the bench to score and provide an assist, just as teammate Mikel Obi was sent off as for Trabzonspor to return to the summit of the Turkish Super Lig today.
Trabzonspor moved two points clear at the top of the table after they defeated Rizespor 5-2.
They have 48 points from 23 matches, two points ahead of second-placed Istanbul Basaksehir with Galatasaray and Sivasspor also within striking distance.
Nwakaeme came off the bench in the 46th minute to score in the 86th minute before he provided an assist for his team’s fifth goal deep into stoppage time.
The winger has now netted nine goals in the Super Lig.
Compatriot Mikel saw red for the first time in Turkey after he received his second booking of the day in stoppage time.
