Anthony Nwakaeme has said he hopes for more big wins for Trabzonspor as they stay on track for the Turkish championship.
The striker netted a brace to help Trabzonspor beat Kasimpasa 6-0 in the first game of the second round of Turkish Super Lig at the weekend.
The former Hapoel Be’er Sheva striker said he looks forward to getting big wins with the club as league action gathers steam.
“I want to congratulate my team, we were great. We are great with goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, striker. We have Sosa, we have strikers like Sörloth. We want to continue like this,” he said.
He has scored seven goals in the league, one in the cup game and one in the UEFA Europa League.
Trabzonspor, who also parade Mikel Obi, are third on the table, just five points behind the Super Lig leaders Sivasspor.
