Super Eagles defender Chibuike Nwaiwu was handed a straight red card in stoppage time as Trabzonspor fell 1-0 at home to Ferencvaros in a UEFA Europa League Playoff tie.

Nwaiwu was easily one of the best players on the pitch on the night before he shoulder charged a Ferencvaros player six minutes into added time.
It seemed a rather harsh call by the referee.
Fellow Super Eagles star Paul Onuachu extended his poor run in front of goal as he again failed to score for the Turkish club.
Nigerian winger Yusuf Bamidele started for Ferenvaros and was later booked.
