The NPFL Player of the Week for Matchday 27 is Emmanuel Ogbole.
Ogbole was the Man of the Match as he fired a brace against defending champions Enyimba for Kwara United to move out of the drop zone.
Born in Lafia, Ogbole was the main man to slay defending champions Enyimba inside a packed Ilorin Stadium.
His double was more than enough to nail Enyimba as even Ikenna Cooper’s lone strike only halved the deficit but couldn’t claim even a point for the nine-time NPFL champions.
Despite playing 18 games this season,this brace makes it just two goals that Ogbole has scored this season,after playing over a thousand minutes in the campaign under review.
Just after Osaghe Jnr scored twice for Bendel Insurance in last weekend’s drubbing of Doma United, Ogbole has now made it two braces in two weeks consecutively in the Nigeria Premier League.
