Club Brugge should not expect to receive 20 million Euros from a Premier League club for Emmanuel Dennis because he has not done enough to command such fee, according to a top scout.
“No Premier League club will pay 20 million (Euros) for an attacker of a dominant side who scored zero goals in their home league,” experienced scout Stan Van den Buijs told Krant van West-Vlaanderen.
Dennis has only managed a goal and provided two assists in nine appearances this season.
Last season, the 22-year-old forward netted nine goals and delivered two assists in 33 matches.
The player himself revealed that a loan move to Premier League club West Bromwich Albion collapsed after he was refused a work permit.
This week has not been great for Emmanuel Dennis after he was widely criticised by his team’s fans after Club Brugge capitulated to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
The fans blasted his attitude and performance.
