Nigerian-born striker John Mary Uzegbunam has finally made his long-awaited debut for the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
The Japan-based striker, 28, who was an unused sub in last week’s 2-0 win over Malawi, was introduced into the heavyweight in Cote d’Ivoire in the 62nd minute Monday.
Cameroon eventually lost this match 2-1 to the Elephants.
John Mary, who was born in Nnobi, Anambra State, has so far scored thrice in 10 matches for his J-League club this season.
