The NFF technical committee will next week meet with Super Eagles coach Finidi George in Abuja “to clear the air and chart a way forward”, a top official told SCORENigeria
Finidi has received a vote of confidence from the NFF leadership despite failing to improve the Super Eagles standing in 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
He led the Super Eagles to draw 1-1 with South Africa in Uyo, before they fell 2-1 to Benin in Abidjan.
An official told SCORENigeria that Finidi will be told to open up on his challenges in the Super Eagles and what he needs to make his job a lot easier going forward.
“It will be a heart-to-heart meeting,” he revealed.
“The committee will also make their suggestions to get the Super Eagles flying again.
“All hands must be on deck now.”
