The NFF have maintained that FIFA are yet to rule on the Super Eagles petition against DR Congo.
The Super Eagles are demanding that DRC be thrown out of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers for fielding several ineligible players in a final playoff clash in November in Morocco.
Today, speculations were rife that FIFA ruled in favour of the Super Eagles, while other reports were to the contrary.
“There is no decision from FIFA at this time,” disclosed NFF director of communications Ademola Olajire.
“Any claims that a ruling has been made are false.
“FIFA have not communicated any verdict to the NFF or the Congolese federation.”
