Some much-needed respite has come the way of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), who have claimed to be broke, as they are in the coming days to receive $500,000 (about 200 million Naira) from FIFA as palliative for the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The NFF are one of 211 member-associations who will enjoy from this generosity from the world football body.
Observers told SCORENigeria that they expect the NFF to in turn support the state football associations, clubs as well as the various leagues, some of which have failed to run no thanks to cash constraints.
This month, the NFF raised alarm that lack of cash may force the various national teams to stay away from international competitions.
