The NFF technical committee will soon meet with Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle to chart the way forward, officials have told SCORENigeria
It will be the second meeting with the Super Eagles coach after he first came before the committee before the 2025 AFCON in Morocco last year.
It is understood that one of the issues to be discussed with the Super Eagles coach is his local assistants.
The committee wishes to find out if he is comfortable with these assistants or there is a need to change them.
Critics have knocked the assistants of not adding value to the national team and so Eric Chelle’s overdependence on his handpicked assistants from France.
Eric Chelle still has a year left on his contract with the NFF with strong indications he will soon get a new deal to extend his stay in Nigeria.
