Former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has demanded for the resignation of the NFF leadership should Nigeria fail to qualify for the World Cup back-to-back.
After they failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Super Eagles are again in serious danger of not qualifying for next year’s World Cup.
“Failure to qualify for another World Cup will kill our football and so we must do something drastic,” said former international Oliseh.
“That will mean not qualifying for two consecutive World Cups, we don’t deserve such.
“The NFF must take full responsibility and resign as a result.”
Nigeria are fourth in the qualifying group with seven points from six matches.
South Africa lead the group with 13 points, Rwanda second on eight points ahead of third-placed Benin, who also have eight points but an inferior goals difference.
Lesotho are fifth with six points and Zimbabwe bottom having recorded four points.
