New Super Falcons star Chioma Okafor is nursing a hand injury and will be unavailable for at least 12 days by which time the 2024 WAFCON has ended, according to coach Justine Madugu.
Okafor has yet to feature at the WAFCON.
She opted for Nigeria even though she is also eligible to play for Malawi through her mother and she was also born there.
She has shone in college football in the USA and was a major surprise inclusion on the Super Falcons final squad to Morocco.
