Former Bendel Insurance defender Benjamin Tanimu has vowed to give everything to justify his maiden call-up by the Super Eagles.
The recent Ihefu FC of Tanzania signing was one of the uncapped players named for friendlies against Ghana and Mali later this month.
“It’s God’s doing, this time last year I was also invited to the U-23 team,” the 21-year-old Tanimu told The Punch.
“I’m glad to have been invited to the Super Eagles of Nigeria for the upcoming friendlies, it’s a huge progress for my career.
“Clarion call heard, I’m ready to serve Nigeria with all my strength.”
