Samu Omorodion, who has been dubbed ‘The New Osimhen’ and has Nigerian parents, has moved closer to joining Chelsea from Atletico Madrid.
Various Transfer Experts reported that the transfer of Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher to Atletico has been sealed and this has cushioned the position of the Spanish club to co-operate on the transfer of Omorodion in the opposite direction.
A fee of between 40 and 50 Million Euros could now be agreed for the 20-year-old striker, who scored eight goals and provided an assist in La Liga on loan to Alaves last season.
Experts insist that the Omorodion transfer has nothing to do with Victor Osimhen’s proposed switch to Chelsea.
