Getafe forward Chrisantus Uche, who has been handed his first invitation by the Super Eagles, as well as Genk striker Tolu Arokodare are yet to join the team ahead of tomorrow’s Jollof Derby against Ghana.
The NFF said in statement that both players are still being expected at the Doubletree By Hilton Hotel in London.
Coach Eric Chelle has as many as 10 players from the NPFL to pick for this derby.
Nigeria and Ghana enjoy a 74-year rivalry.
The Super Eagles beat the Black Stars 2-1 in a friendly in Morocco in March 2024, a year after the Ghanaians qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar at the expense of their Nigerian counterparts.
