Wilfred Ndidi completed his “incredible recovery” when he returned to action tonight just weeks after undergoing knee surgery as Leicester City beat West Ham 4-1.
He replaced injured Nampalys Mendy in the 34th minute.
He caused his team a penalty early in the second half, but otherwise he was back to his old form even after missing Leicester City’s last four games.
Compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho was also a replacement for injured Jamie Vardy.
He won a penalty for Leicester City, which was put away for the home team to lead 3-1.
Tonight’s win consolidated third place in the Premier League standings for ‘The Foxes’.
