Ndidi fires Leicester City top of Premier League

Wilfred Ndidi fired a rocket after six minutes as Leicester City shot to the top of the Premier League on the back of a 2-0 home win over Chelsea.

Ndidi let fly from outside the box with his weaker left foot to put ‘The Foxes’ ahead early in this contest.

It was his first goal since 2019 and it is his second against Chelsea.

Leicester City now top the standings on 38 points from 19 matches.

Manchester United are a point behind with a game in hand.
