Various credible reports said that Napoli rejected a staggering 100 Million Euros offer from Newcastle United for Victor Osimhen.
The tempting offer was made in January.
Newcastle with their new Saudi Arabian owners were desperate to sign Osimhen to shoot them out of relegation trouble in the Premier League.
Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport reported that Napoli president, who splashed out a record 70 Million Euros to sign Osimhen from Lille, also rejected a 50 Million Euros offer from Newcastle for Spanish midfielder Fabien Ruiz about the same time.
That offer was also rejected.
It is expected that Newcastle could come in again for Osimhen with an improved bid in the summer.
