Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has again disclosed that the club are close to agreeing a contract extension with striker Victor Osimhen.
“I can confirm that we are close to the agreement to extend Victor Osimhen’s contract,” he told CorSport
Osimhen’s current deal runs out June 2025.
Napoli have proposed a two-year extension, but it appears this new agreement will now be for a year.
It has also been reported that a release clause of 130 Million Euros has been inserted in this new deal.
Osimhen’s latest Transfermarkt valuation has dropped to 110 Million Euros after injury and labored performances.
The Napoli president also disclosed the club will sign at least three players in the winter transfer window.
