Napoli have said they expect Victor Osimhen back in action next month after he injured his shoulder on Super Eagles duty in November.
The injury has meant Osimhen has missed his team’s last nine matches after initial diagnosis was that he will miss only a couple of games.
“Osimhen is still not well, we are waiting for him at the beginning of 2021,” Napoli sports director Cristiano Giuntoli told Sky Italia
“At what point of the month is he back? We are waiting for him at the beginning of January, I don’t know when he will come back, we will see in what conditions it will be and we will evaluate.”
Osimhen has visited Belgium to intensify his rehabilitation.
